History PhD Candidate at Universidad de Sevilla with funding from the “VI Plan Propio de Investigación y Transferencia de la Universidad de Sevilla”. Member of the research groups: “Dinámicas sociales e identitarias en la Historia de América Latina y el Caribe” (HUM-1042), and “Oil Cultures of the Middle East and Latin America” (OCMELA). During 2021-2022, she has been a Fulbright Visiting Researcher at the University of California-Davis, with funding from Fulbright and Junta de Andalucía. She has also been a Visiting Researcher at Cornell University and the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut (Berlin). Her research focuses on the cultural impact of foreign oil companies in Venezuela during the 20th century.
